The SBS Waterproof Roll extruder Machine is a core complete set of equipment for producing SBS-modified asphalt waterproofing membrane. Through an automated extrusion process, it transforms raw materials into waterproofing membrane that meets engineering standards.
Core Definition and Application
The SBS Waterproof Roll extruder Machine uses SBS (styrene-butadiene-styrene block copolymer) as the key modifier. After mixing it with asphalt and fillers, the extruder produces a highly elastic, high- and low-temperature-resistant waterproofing membrane through extrusion, molding, and cooling processes. Its products are widely used in waterproofing projects such as roofs, basements, and bridges, making it a key piece of equipment in the production of waterproof building materials.
Core Workflow
Raw Material Pretreatment: SBS granules, asphalt, talc, and other raw materials are mixed according to the formula and fed into the extruder barrel via a feeding system.
SBS Waterproof Roll extruder Machine heating extrusion: The barrel is heated by thermal oil or electric heating to melt the raw materials. The high-speed screw extrudes the molten material into a mold of a specific shape. SBS waterproofing membrane extruders perform molding and cooling: After the molten material is extruded through a die, it is bonded to a base material (such as polyester felt) and then rapidly cooled and solidified by a chilled water roller system.
Subsequent processing: The cooled membrane is pulled, trimmed, and wound. Some lines can also perform surface embossing or lamination simultaneously, ultimately creating the finished product.
