PA materials have high temperature requirements, and the melting point is around 220-240°. This requires the mold, screw, and barrel to use high temperature resistant materials. PA is sensitive to temperature. If the temperature is higher, the sheet will turn into water, and if the temperature is lower, the sheet cannot be squeezed out. This requires us to accurately control the temperature of the equipment, and the temperature is ±1°.
The material requirements are high, and it must be strictly dried before processing (usually vacuum dried at 80-120℃ for 4-8 hours, and the water content must be controlled below 0.05%). Insufficient drying will directly lead to an increase in the scrap rate and increase the process pre-processing cost and time. Therefore, the molding threshold of PA sheets is higher, and the requirements for technical experience are also more stringent.
